An application has now been submitted for an overnight truckstop on land at Marsh Lane, by Junction 9 (M42). This would bring 200 much-needed HGV parking spaces and driver facilities, as well as investment to the A446, enhancing regional connectivity. The free parking proposed at the truckstop will help to allow phased deliveries to local businesses, freeing up space for logistics operators and industrial estates to sort and stack cargo.
