Barclay Grange is a proposal for 84 thoughtfully designed new homes in Hertford Heath. Alongside the new homes, the plans include a range of community benefits, such as a community hub and village parking.
As part of the Barclay Grange development, we are able to privately fund the total cost of vital improvements to London Road, ensuring the safety of the local community.
We are asking Hertford Heath Parish Council to allocate Barclay Grange in the upcoming Neighbourhood Plan. If you would like to help make this happen, you can do so by passing on your thoughts to the Parish Council below.
This is a platform for supporters, therefore all supportive messages will be redirected to the Parish Council on your behalf. Any comments you make may be made public by the parish council as part of the planning process.
You may have seen on Hertford Heath Parish Council’s website that Hertfordshire County Council has confirmed that a crossing on London Road near the entrance to the Foxholes is deliverable. However, the Council has had to abandon further investigation on the delivery of the crossing due to the absence of funding. This funding can be delivered through the Development of Barclay Grange, if allocated in the Neighbourhood Plan.
The landowners of Barclay Grange have offered to fully fund the crossing alongside the provision of a village car park, electric charging points, road calming measures, open green space that can benefit the older children in the village and other community facilities that residents have asked for at no cost to the public purse.
